By using the holistic helmet concept in its development, POC was able to achieve an unprecedented level of aerodynamic performance, safety and air permeability in the Ventral MIPS without compromising.

Based on the Venturi effect, the helmet’s airflow zones allow it to glide through the air with greater efficiency, making it faster. Residual air moving around the helmet is directed through the 22° aero trailing edge, the perfect angle to minimize turbulence, further improving aerodynamic performance. By guiding air through the helmet rather than around it, air turbulence is minimized while its air permeability and cooling are improved.

Other features of the holistic helmet concept include a fully wrapped one-piece shell with an EPS insert for the ideal balance between weight and protection. In addition to MIPS rotational impact protection, the helmet now also features a lightweight size adjustment system that wraps around the entire head for comfort and a secure fit.
